Vintage Octopus Door Knob and Furniture Pull
The Vintage Octopus Door Knob is a striking piece of hardware designed to turn mundane cabinets and garden gates into conversational focal points. I tested this piece to see if its intricate design could hold up to the elements while maintaining its functional utility as a pull.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed with a heavy-duty feel, the octopus handle is designed for longevity and resilience against outdoor conditions. The metalwork is detailed and robust, ensuring it can withstand the repetitive tension of being pulled without compromising the integrity of the finish.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic furniture hardware, and the fixed handle design provides a solid grip for daily use. While the textured tentacles are purely decorative, they don't impede the comfort of using the handle to open drawers or heavy garden doors.
This handle is perfect for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want to infuse a coastal or vintage aesthetic into their home decor.
